Spherical Roller Bearing Cross Reference: SKF, NSK, NTN, Koyo, NACHI and FAG to ENRO
Find the ENRO number for an SKF, NSK, NTN, Koyo, NACHI or FAG spherical roller bearing. SKF 22205 E, NSK 22205CE4 and FAG 22205-E1-XL are all 25 × 52 × 18 mm, the same as ENRO 22205W33. Two tables cover cylindrical and tapered bores for the ENRO sizes 22205, 22206, 22207, 22208, 22209, 22210, 22211, 22212, 22213, 22215, 22217, 22220, 23022.
Reading a spherical roller bearing number
The match is by boundary dimensions only: bore d, outside diameter D and width B. Boundary dimensions follow the ISO 15 dimension series. A spherical roller bearing number has three parts that matter for a cross reference: the base number (22205 is the 222 series with bore code 05), the internal design letters each maker uses, and the codes for the bore and the lubrication groove. The base number fixes the size. The design letters belong to each maker and have no ENRO equivalent, so they are dropped when you translate.

W33, the lubrication groove, and why some numbers do not show it
W33 means an annular groove and three lubrication holes in the outer ring, so grease can be fed to the middle of the bearing. ENRO writes it on every spherical roller bearing in this table. The other makers handle it differently:
| Maker | Code for groove and holes | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| SKF | W33 | E design bearings have the groove and holes as standard and do not show W33. CC design numbers write it: 23022 CC/W33. |
| NSK | E4 | Part of the number: 22205CE4. |
| NTN | D1 | Part of the number: 22205EAD1. |
| Koyo | W33 | Added when the groove and holes are specified. |
| NACHI | W33 | W20 means lubrication holes only, without the groove. |
| FAG | none | E1 design bearings have the groove and holes with no suffix. |
If a marking from Koyo or NACHI ends in W33, it is still the same row in the table. If it ends in NACHI W20, tell us, because the groove is missing.
Tapered bore (1:12): six makers to ENRO K/W33 (13 sizes)
The same sizes with a 1:12 tapered bore, for mounting on an adapter or withdrawal sleeve. Every maker marks it with K.

Dimensions are from the ENRO catalogue. "Ask us": the number has not passed our source check yet, so it is left out. Send it and we will confirm it. FAG 23022 tapered bore: still being checked.
K and K30: check the taper
K on its own is a 1:12 taper, the usual one for adapter sleeves. K30 is a 1:30 taper. The tapered-bore table covers 1:12 (K) only. If your number has K30, send it as written.
Worked example: replacing an NSK 22210EAE4
- 22210 is the size: 50 × 90 × 23 mm. ENRO 22210 has the same boundary dimensions.
- EA is NSK's internal design. It is dropped in the translation.
- E4 is the lubrication groove and holes. The ENRO code is W33.
- So the ENRO number is 22210W33. If the bearing sits on an adapter sleeve, the old number will have a K (22210EAKE4), and the ENRO number is 22210K/W33.
Before you send a spherical roller bearing list
- Copy the full number, design letters and all, so we can see the cage and design the old bearing had.
- Say whether the bore is cylindrical or tapered, and for tapered bores whether it is K or K30.
- If the old bearing had a clearance code (C3, C4), include it and we will confirm what ENRO supplies for that size.
- Sizes beyond this table are on the spherical roller bearing page.

Spherical roller bearings cross reference FAQ
What is the ENRO equivalent of SKF 22210 E?
ENRO 22210W33. Both are 50 × 90 × 23 mm (d × D × B). SKF E design bearings have the lubrication groove and holes without writing W33; ENRO writes it.
Is NSK E4 the same as W33?
Both mean a lubrication groove and holes in the outer ring. NSK puts E4 at the end of the number, ENRO writes W33. NSK 22208EAE4 translates to ENRO 22208W33.
What does the K mean in 22205K/W33?
K is a tapered bore with a 1:12 taper, for mounting on an adapter or withdrawal sleeve. Every maker in the table uses K for it. A 1:30 taper is K30 and is a different bearing.
Do the design letters (E, CC, EA, RZ, EX, E1) matter?
They describe each maker's cage and internal design, which ENRO does not copy. They do not change the size. If your application needs a particular cage material, mention it and we will tell you what ENRO supplies.
A cell says "ask us". What does that mean?
A number is printed only after it has been checked against the maker's published data or against more than one independent source. "Ask us" means that check is not finished for this cell, so we leave it blank rather than guess. Send the number you have and we will confirm it before quoting.
Can I send a whole parts list in one go?
Yes. Paste the numbers as they are written on the old bearings or in your maintenance records, with quantities. We return the ENRO number and dimensions next to each line. We reply within 24 hours on business days.
Send your part list. Get a matched quote.
Send any part number and we'll match the dimensionally equivalent ENRO model. We reply within 24 hours on business days.
